Our Story
KiluWorks Leadership Institute is a Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering diaspora youth and young adults through leadership development, mentorship, and personal growth. We recognize that many young people navigating multiple cultures face unique challenges related to identity, communication, belonging, and purpose—while also carrying tremendous potential to lead and make a positive impact on their communities.
Through our Transformation, Leadership, and Communication (TLC) approach, KiluWorks creates opportunities for young people to strengthen their identity, discover their purpose, develop practical leadership and communication skills, and grow into confident, authentic leaders. Our programs connect personal transformation with leadership development, equipping participants not only to succeed personally but also to make a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond.
Our Objective & Goal
Our primary objective is to equip diaspora youth and young adults with the confidence, character, communication skills, and leadership capacity they need to thrive in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world. We help participants understand who they are, discover their purpose, strengthen their ability to communicate and connect with others, and develop the practical skills needed to lead with authenticity and integrity.
Through leadership development programs, mentorship, workshops, coaching, and community engagement, KiluWorks Leadership Institute creates meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, grow, serve, and lead. Our goal is to develop a generation of values-driven leaders who are prepared to positively influence their families, communities, workplaces, and society.
